Monday Meanderings

Fairly busy day and now looking forward to relaxing in bed with a book. Saw that our version of "Things We Said Today" keeps bouncing back and forth between #1 and #5 on the charts at mp3unsigned. Apparently a lot of people are rating it a "10," which is very very cool! Some nice comments from listeners there as well. Much appreciated.

Saturday Morning

StrangeCloud was recently featured in "The Buzz," the weekly entertainment insert of the Edmond, Oklahoma newspaper.  I was pleasantly surprised to see that we made The Cover of Buzz , and that there is also a Full Page Inside Story (put cursor over lower right corner and click the box that comes up to make it big enough to read.)  As a result of this article I keep running into people around town asking me about the music, the CD, playing live, etc.  Very cool in a way.
 
Drove to Hugo, Oklahoma yesterday.  Took about 3.5 hours.  Way down in the SE corner of the state, close to the Texas border.  Nice drive.  Small town.  Had a very busy week but looking forward to a little relaxation this weekend.
 
We have put up our version of The Beatles "Things We Said Today" for a short while.  It's available in hifi and lofi streaming.  Hope you enjoy it!

Tuesday Again

What a great holiday weekend. Weather cleared up, nice and hot and sunny. Raining again now. Nasty thunderstorms all night and probably continuing throughout the day. Had a BBQ, saw the fireworks, played some golf, relaxed. Did a photo shoot yesterday for an article on StrangeCloud coming out in the local paper, hopefully next weekend. Back to the grind today though. Lots to do!

Friday Fritters

Had the day off. Frittered around mostly. Hung out by the pool, as it finally turned nice after some morning rain. Went to see Spiderman 2 last night. Fantastic! Absolutely every bit as good, and even better, than the first Spiderman. Great acting, good story, humor, suspense, action, romance - the movie has it all. Did an interview with a reporter for the local paper today regarding StrangeCloud and Phanus. Photo shoot on Monday. We'll see what comes of it. No idea what angle he's going to take.

Thursday Thrills

Another nasty rainy day, although there's a little sun out there now. It's so unusually rainy here in Oklahoma that my son's poor T-Ball team has had EVERY one of their games rained out, including tonight's. I think that's 5 games now. So maybe we'll go see Spiderman 2 tonight instead of tomorrow.
